It was absolutely fab! I wish I'd been able to come earlier, but alas, time did not allow (and my passport arriving last thing). But Alnswick was fantastic. Ryokophoenix has got some photos of it up, which is good enough, but nothing beats having been there *gloat*. I miss you in particular! You were awesome of the awesome!
Your trip home sounds absolutely lousy. I was in a car for fourteenish hours - but I slept most of the way home, so it didn't bother me much. Still...I could have done with being awake, and reading some more, because I'm still only half way through my DH writeupofdoom.
