Jun. 24th, 2007 05:00 pmI've got two more layers left to ink, and then my map is all finished. Of course, scanning it is going to take yonks, so it can wait until later *mostly the issue is folding and refolding to get the right part facing down, lol. I'm going to retape it all when I've done that, to protect the edges, oh, and lightly shade in the Houses with their respective colours.
In other news, I hate it being the weekend. It's impossible to be proactive without deadlines.
However, I've managed to do a lot more work on preparation for our Care of Magical Creatures Class. Of course, this is looming very close now; it's terrifying not having all the preparations done and dusted already! I'll be much more content when it's done.
Finally, there are only nineteen things left on my list of things to do:
Make Annie Ride Horse
Get Ebay Working
Textbook
Invoice Wednesday
Wand
Dye Hair
Finish Map
Parseltongue Dictionary
Finish Website
Death Eater Mask
Wash Correct Clothes
Book Hostel for Extra Days
Padlock for Horses Gate
Board Up Other Gate
Tidy Room
Read Books
Get Own Cloak and Dress Made
Prepare Lesson
Passport
As you can see, very few of these are little things. I'd say at least ten of them will take more than a day to do each... Getting them done is very pressing, but possibilities linger on the horizon. I've already done some very tricky stuff, like get my hair cut, learn my lines, buy stationary and embroider my jeans...so it's just the left over stuff I have to do. I'm glad none of it's dull though; I can get stuck in to pretty much any of it without hating doing it. Except maybe the washing...but deciding what to take it great fun.
Of course, it goes without saying that there'll be another list after this one, I don't want to leave anything behind; especially not anything important. It's going to be...well, it's going to be interesting, to say the least. Long, most probably.
