Last week I went to Anvers, Antwerpen or Antwerp, which was great, great fun. First of all we wandered around simply because we were there; oogled at the pretty horse drawn coaches, and took touristy photos.

But then things got significantly better. There were boats...ships; not just any ships, tall ships. We'd come just as the 50th Anniversary of the Tall Ship Race sailed into Antwerp...which was all chance and luck.

So, we went out on a tourist boat and took impressive photographs of the ships in the port, and then went...dadadad...to see Pirates of the Caribbean 2.

Now as this was my first time seeing a film in English at the cinema since Harry Potter 2 and the Matrix 3, I was expecting wonderful things; and though with special effects I wasn't disappointed, the thorough dark nastiness of all the characters that I'd come to love was really, really horrible. So not happy with PotC:2, and if they don't redeem James, there will be hell to pay!

Anyway...then we went back at 9am the next day to take loads more photos, and ran all the batteries down, and it was all good. We then came home, which is a bit of an anticlimax really. But I love ships, so I had an excellent time, and my little brother made a wonderful pirate.

At home, we are still waiting for the farrier to come to do the horse's feet, and trying to make decisions about what to do with our rebellious filly. Still...she managed to behave enough to day; a few more like that, and we might not have to sell her like as I have been afraid.

So...this is why there's been no more writing recently; although while I was gone I drew a beautiful illustration for the Liberation chapter titled 'Werewolves', so that'll be up as soon as I get it scanned.

Also look out for the next chapter of As the World Falls Down, in which Snape will be making his move.

You can find my fiction at HPFandom.net, under the penname Regasssa. And I really must update my website.
